Founder, Ocean State of Mind Counseling

My Passion for Counseling

I knew I wanted to do this work when I was 17. At the time, I struggled with anxiety and body image issues that led to me needing help of my own. My experience seeking counseling inspired me to do what I do today. Much of my own journey has been about truly understanding myself, giving myself compassion, and developing the confidence to know what I want, need, and what's no longer serving me. I want to help you develop the same insights so you can start making positive changes in your life.

Taking the first step to get help through counseling may feel a little weird or nerve-wracking and that's normal. Our sessions will feel like a genuine, down to earth conversation where your voice is heard. I will ask you for updates on things you've mentioned in previous sessions because I genuinely care and want to know how you've been doing. I'm dedicated to creating a comfortable non-judgemental and safe space for you.
